Club Status

PTE is a self-governing organization, self-supporting non-profit.  Sponsorship and in kind donations are welcome. Please see our sponsors’ page regarding sponsorship opportunities. PTE is a member of both United States Track and Field (USATF) and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU).

Club Function

The club is comprised of 100% volunteer staff of parents and coaches who promotes and support youth track. The club operates by Pure Talent by-laws.

During the spring and summer season (March-August), our athletes compete (depending on the availability at individual races) in the following dashes/runs: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500/1600m, and 3000m runs. 1600 and 3200 race walk. The following hurdles: 80m, 100m, 110m, 300m, 400m. Relays include the 4x100m, 4x400m, 4x800m relays. Jumps and field events include: long jump, high jump, triple jump, shot put, discus, and javelin. Multi-events include the triathlon, pentathlon, heptathlon, and decathlon. High school athletes with experience in the heptathlon or decathlon may compete in such as a member of Pure Talent Elite.
